General

ASCE's Geo-Institute Seepage/Groundwater Modeling Software
The web page is a set of links to many sites with information about groundwater modeling.
GROUNDWATER.COM
A great place to find mailing lists, groundwater related web sites, frequently used environmental web sites, an extensive list of geology web sites, and a list of nearly 100 environmental, geology, and hydrology mailing lists.
International Ground Water Modeling Center
Technology transfer and research in groundwater modeling at the Colorado School of Mines.
WATERMODELING.ORG
A resource for engineering professionals to ask questions about computer modeling issues and to find answers or solutions to modeling situations. The focus is practical, with a hands-on, how-to-do-it emphasis.

Government

U.S. EPA's Center for Exposure Assessment Modeling (CEAM)
CEAM distributes environmental simulation models and databases.
U.S. EPA's technical tools and modeling resources
A listing of databases and software available from EPA.
U.S. EPA's Interactive Training Course
An interactive internet-based course on subsurface modeling is being developed by EPA's National Exposure Research Laboratory, Ecosystems Development Division, Athens GA and USEPA Region 9.
U.S. Geological Survey's Ground Water modeling software
Contains links for downloading many of the USGS's popular programs including: MODFLOW, MODFLOWP, MODPATH, UCODE and more.
U.S. Salinity Laboratory Models
A collection of programs developed by the USDA's research lab in Southern California. The models focus primarily on flow and transport phenomena in the unsaturated zone.

Software

AQTESOLV for Windows
Software for the design and evaluation of pumping tests and slug tests. Features visual and automatic matching, variable pumping rates, multiple pumping wells and observation wells, derivative analysis, and wizards for data entry and data loggers. Free demo available from web site.
The Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Software Directory
Details several hundred programs, software publishers and suppliers in the fields of Hydrogeology, Geo-environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Data Analysis and Data Visualization. It also links to other WWW pages with related software.
GFLOW2000 for Windows
Analytical element modeling of groundwater flow and particle tracking. Versatile windows based modeling environment.
MT3D Resources
The Hydrogeology Group at University of Alabama's web page has information, updates and links to MT3D related sites.
PEST: Parameter Estimation with any model
PEST is a nonlinear parameter estimation "shell" that communicates with any existing model through the model's own input and output files. It can calibrate models with up to four unknown parameters. There are utilities to link PEST with MODFLOW and MT3D.
RT3D Bioremediation Code
Three-dimensional transport code used for modeling active bioremediation and natural attenuation problems.
TWODAN and SOLUTRANS from Fitts GeoSolutions
TWODAN for windows is a quick and simple 2-D analytic element model with powerful features like stratified aquifers, heterogeneities, thin barriers (e.g. slurry walls). Ideal for simulating remediation designs, capture zones, and regional flow. Great windows interface, with access to all data in spreadsheet-like grids. SOLUTRANS models 3D solute transport (equilibrium and non-equilibrium) using analytic solutions.
Visual MODFLOW for Windows 95/NT
from Waterloo Hydrogeologic, Inc.
USGS Ground-Water Software an extensive list of USGS developed ground water related software
