We specialize in collecting, managing, displaying and analyzing data
to support permitting applications and evaluations for a wide range
of land, water and air related projects. Our concisely written
reports stand alone or form key sections of larger permit submittals,
and we excel at preparing and presenting our results in clear and
understandable formats for public meetings and permit review hearings.
Representative Experience
McLane Environmental has assisted clients in a number of environmental
planning, permitting, and resource management projects, including:
- Analyzed wastewater infiltration gallery
designs and aquifer impacts to support permitting of a municipal
wastewater treatment facility in New England.
- Performed analyses of leach field loading
rates for permitting of a number of residential and commercial
development projects.
- Conducted water diversion impact
analyses, including groundwater modeling, to support a permit
application for a proposed power generation facility overlying a
New Jersey drinking water aquifer.
- Evaluated aquifer impacts to support a
water allocation permit for increased groundwater withdrawals at
an expanding manufacturing facility.
- Analyzed nitrate loading and
groundwater-surface water impact to support the design and
permitting of wastewater disposal systems.
- Directed a complex study of land use,
geologic and hydrologic resources, wetlands, ecological habitat
and endangered species, geologic mining, well field operation and
development pressures for a large area of protected lands to
assist county government in future use planning decisions.
- Evaluated hydrologic and hydrogeologic impacts to support new
source allocation permit applications for well fields in sensitive
ecological and hydrologic systems, including evaluation of saltwater
intrusion threats to well fields in coastal aquifers.
Our analyses, reports of findings, and presentations at public
meetings for these and other projects have contributed to our clients’
many successes in receiving requested permits and regulatory approval
for their projects.
