1. Close all Windows programs and restart your computer.

2. Click on the following link to navigate to the Cortona download page. http://www.parallelgraphics.com/products/cortona/download/iexplore/

2. Cortona can be downloaded from this page for both Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator browsers, even though the page says “Install Cortona for Internet Explorer” at the top.

3. We recommend using the manual installation found in the lower left of the page. Start the installation by clicking on the http://www.parallelgraphics.com link. Click 'Run' to continue. Click 'Run' again.

4. The Cortona VRML Client Setup will launch automatically. Follow onscreen instructions until setup is complete. (The default installation settings are acceptable.)

5. After installation is complete, test Cortona with McLane’s smallest VRML file by clicking on the following link. test

Warning: Please be aware that some of our VRML files are very large and may take awhile to download, depending on your internet connection. For example, the following table shows download times for our largest VRML file based on different connection speeds. In addition, the larger files will take some time to open after they have finished downloading.
