Our Products

McLane Environmental has developed training materials and software tools to help other scientists, engineers, and consultants perform the same types of analyses that we apply in our work. Over the years, we have performed a number of modeling studies using models based on the Analytic Element Method (AEM), and have created the flexAEM system of tutorials, courses, software tools that show how easy it is to build and use AEM models (using AnAqSim, an AEM groundwater flow modeling software developed by Fitts Geosolutions). We have also developed TS-CHEM, a contaminant plume fate and transport modeling software. In addition to using TS-CHEM in our project work, we offer the software and training courses to allow other consultants to use it, or to help professors with college level instruction on fate and transport processes.

Software for Analytical Plume Modeling

TS-CHEM is a simple, easy to use software package for performing a full range of groundwater plume transport modeling analyses. The software contains a library of over 30 models (solutions to the advection-dispersion equation) that covers dozens of different problem setups for point, line or area contaminant sources; for bounded and unbounded aquifers; and for sources that are constant, exponentially decaying, or which can be set at various levels through time.

Training and Tutorial Series for AEM Modeling

flexAEM is a system of tutorials, courses, software tools, and "best practice" tips to introduce you to the power of analytic element method (AEM) groundwater modeling. AEM models are ideal for rapidly and cost effectively analyzing flow conditions and aquifer response for a wide range of groundwater projects. Our groundwater modeling training materials are designed to help groundwater flow modelers, hydrogeologists, and engineers of any skill level
